THE GOLDEN GIFT OF POETRY
Today I have the honor of posting some very beautiful lines by a blogger friend. What do I say about him, I have not known him for a very long time, but in this brief span of time, I know that he is one of the most sensitive writers in the blogging world. What attracted me to his writings is, that being a man, he is so sensitive towards women…and that made my respect for him grow, you rarely find such men around. Thank you Andy for your presence here. You can read more of Andy David’s work at his blog, “ThoughtsOf Beauty In The Stillness Of Dawn”
My name is Andy David. I am a self-taught poet. I mainly write about love, romance & matters of the heart. I love music, especially Indian music. The great Mukesh is my all-time favorite singer & his music is the influence behind many volumes of my poetic creations.
THE GOLDEN GIFT OF POETRY
Darling, embrace the beauty of our friendship unfolding with breathless passion beneath the sanctuary of life.
Teach me how to tie the thread of my thoughts to the fabric of your mysterious heart so I may learn the sweetness of love.
To watch snow covering falling leaves on a cold, autumn day is most romantic when two lovers embrace the beauty of its greatness with a smile.
The innocence found in the petals of a velvet rose reminds me of the priceless values I have found in your loving eyes.
Will you not agree that our friendship was formed between the magical lines of a golden gift of poetry?
It was there I was awakened to taste the spirit of life through your enchanting fragrance.
My darling, the golden gift of poetry will remain as words only to me, until your friendship gives birth to the eternal love I have always written about.
