STOLEN MOMENTS


       STOLEN MOMENTS



A touch, soft and tender
A whisper, full of desire
A gasp of sweet surrender
As passion fuels the fire

No words spoken between them
No promises to be kept
No lies being told tonight
No looking back

Longing to hold each other
Such precious little time
Both vowed to another
Being lonely their only crime

Tomorrow bringing sorrow
With the memory of this one night
A release from passion's flames
She sighs, moves closer
Her breath stirs him
Hands join in gentle caress
Exploration shared and renewed

They touch, lips meeting
Slow, soft, delicate
The crescendo building up
Breathing ragged
Silken flesh sliding lithely
Till there is sweet surrender to passion's call

The flickering candle burning low
They are entwined together, two as one
The sweet sound of their desire filling the air
Crying out in fulfillment
Finding home
In each other’s arms
Starving and craving
For an evening
Of sheer bliss
Their dreams finally coming true......

    First of all I love the photo you chose...it reflects the words written...you brought the photo to life...and you can feel the passion, yet longing, loneliness and loss all at the same time within your words...you captured the poetic essense of "Love's Journey"...beautifully written...

    Oh when will mine come true? I still haven't felt such bliss :P...

    But even if I haven't, I have felt the passion and tenderness between a couple who stole those moments...

    You always make me crave for more except that I'll expend my energies on more creative things and not on poetry reading for a special someone;)... my intimate moments will be with the Lord :P
